Cardiac Emergency Response Plan

In order to be prepared to deal with cardiac emergencies within our schools, Indian Prairie School District has developed a comprehensive Cardiac Emergency Response Plan (CERP) to outline our procedures, training, and available resources.

Each District #204 school is equipped with Automated External Defibrillators (AED’s) to assist with a cardiac emergency response, and each school also has a designated Cardiac Emergency Response Team. Cardiac Emergency Response Team members will receive certification in CPR and practice drills together to be prepared to respond if needed.
