2020-21 Assessments Home Page

***Please take note of the small gray tabs above for specifics on particular 2020-21 assessments*** 

Students will be taking the Illinois Assessment of Readiness on multiple Mondays beginning with 6th/7th grade students on March 15. Testing will be facilitated in person only (no remote testing is allowed) and bus transportation will be provided for ALL STUDENTS. Students need to wear a mask and bring their charged CHROMEBOOK along with HEADPHONES, a calculator, pencils, and a book to read/other work to do. Students will work asynchronously on days their grade level is NOT testing.


March 22 - IAR State Assessment for 8th Grade students from 8:00am - 11:30am
6th and 7th = asynchronous


April 12 – IAR State Assessment for 6th and 7th Grade students from 8:00am – 12:59pm
8th Grade = asynchronous

April 19 – IAR State Assessment for 8th Grade students 8:00am – 12:59pm
6th and 7th Grade = asynchronous

April 26 – Illinois Science Assessment (ISA) for 8th Grade students ONLY 8:00am – 12:59pm
6th and 7th Grade = asynchronous

(Students with extended time accommodations will come in and test on all testing Mondays listed, regardless of grade level).

If your child misses a testing Monday and you want them to make-up the missing Units, please email Mr. Chorba at adam_chorba@ipsd.org to add your student to the make-up list for the following Monday.

 


PSAT

PSAT 2020 has been CANCELLED

 

Original plans for PSAT 2020 remain below: 

2020 DATE: MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9th

  • PSAT 8/9 is the first assessment in the SAT suite that leads to the SAT.
  • PSAT 8/9 results will be used to guide high school course placement determinations.
  • Students will be in school on November 9 for approximately 4 hours.
  • PSAT 8/9 is a paper/pencil test that must be taken in person at school.
  • Students may participate in the assessment regardless of the instruction option you have chosen for second quarter.
  • Schools will be sharing additional information before the testing date including details about safety protocols, the schedule for the day, room assignments, and transportation.

IAR

AIMSWEB

Winter AIMSWEB testing - February 2021:

Monday, February 8th with their 1st period at 8:00 am:
-6th grade Remote students will be testing
-(6,7, & 8th Hybrid students will be Math AIMSWEB testing during their unlunch period the week of 2/8)
Monday, February 15th with their 1st period at 8:00 am:
-7th grade Remote students will be testing
Monday, February 15th with their 5th period at 8:00 am:
-8th grade Remote students will be testing
-(6, 7 & 8th Hybrid students will be Reading AIMSWEB testing during their unlunch period the week of 2/15)

Please note:
-ALL students will be working asynchronously Monday, February 8th and February 15th.
-All students should have headphones to use. Students testing Remotely MUST have their cameras and microphones ON.
