Meet Mr. Sweeney

My name is Joe Sweeney, and I am the Assistant Principal of Crone Middle School. Prior to coming to Crone, I was the Dean of Students at Oswego High School in Oswego, IL. I worked at Oswego High School for nine years, five as a Business Teacher, and four as a Dean.
I earned a Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education at Dana College in Blair, Nebraska. I earned a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Aurora University in Aurora, IL . I was a product of District 204 schools, and I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at Crone Middle School where "Every day is a great day to be a PANTHER!"

Meet Mrs. Forcash

It is with great excitement that I would like to introduce myself. I am honored to be in this position and I’m eagerly anticipating a year of learning and getting to know the Crone students, staff, and families. Professionally, I have spent my career working with primarily 6th-12th grade students as a teacher and coach. Prior to Crone, I taught for 15 years in LaGrange as a teacher and coached high school basketball at Lyons Township High School. I received my undergraduate degree from Knox College, and I hold a Masters Degree in both Curriculum and Instruction as well as Administration and School Leadership from National Louis University. As an educator, I find the middle school years to be pivotal in the development of children. It’s a time when they are learning who they are and making the transition from the elementary years in preparation for high school. Being a part of this journey is truly rewarding as we as parents, teachers, administrators, support staff, and students work together to make the experience memorable and enriching. I am looking forward to being a part of the Crone Community! Go Panthers!
